The module in brief
2Tonnes is an immersive workshop that uses collective intelligence to explore the future and identify possible courses of action for the climate.
Created in 2019, 2Tonnes is a serious game, designed to bring people together and debate together. As well as raising awareness of climate issues, it gives professionals the tools they need to take action at their own level and to work together to identify concrete courses of action that can be taken in their companies.
Based on data from recognised organisations (Ademe, OECD, FAO, RTE, Négawatt, etc.), the workshop combines scientific rigour with an educational approach to create a positive dynamic.
Starting with their individual carbon footprint, participants are invited to project themselves for 8 rounds on the individual and collective actions they can take to reduce CO2 emissions, and follow the evolution of their footprint and that of society, turn by turn.
2tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year is the target we need to reach by 2050 if we are to meet the commitments made in the Paris Agreement: to keep the rise in global temperature below 2 degrees. Today, on average, each French person emits 9.5 tCO2/year…
Objectives
- Help participants to understand the impact of individual and collective decisions on the achievement of Objective 2 tonnes.
- Provide the keys to taking action and launching a team dynamic on a sustainable theme
